ROTTERDAM TERROR CORPS @ AMORE HARD NYE
I Rotterdam Terror Corps sono stati fondati nel 1993 e possono essere considerati uno dei pionieri dell’hardcore live act. DJ Distortion, l’iniziatore del famigerato gruppo, ha concepito un concept più oscuro e potente del sound Happy Hardcore prevalente. Da questo sono nati i Rotterdam Terror Corps. È il produttore principale di tutti i brani, ma ha anche collaborato con numerosi altri artisti.
Con oltre 2000 esibizioni dal vivo e 1000 DJ booking negli ultimi 25 anni, persone in tutto il mondo hanno sperimentato la straordinaria potenza degli RTC. Tutti i grandi rave europei hanno invitato gli RTC a suonare, come Tomorrowland, Thunderdome, Energy, Defqon, Q-base, Masters of Hardcore, Mysteryland, Hellraiser, Dominator, Ruhr In Love, Hardcore Gladiators, Goliath, Megarave, Summer Festival, Nature One, Energy, Hardshock, Toxicator, ecc.
I festaioli in Russia, Stati Uniti (New York, New Jersey, Chicago, Los Angeles, Mesa AZ, Denver, Pittsburgh, San Francisco), Svezia, Finlandia, Austria, Svizzera, Spagna, Italia, Germania, Lussemburgo, Belgio, Francia, Ungheria, Slovacchia e Polonia hanno assistito al potere della bandiera nera e del teschio bianco.
Nel 1996 vinsero due Thunder Awards: Miglior Live-Act e Miglior MC. Nel 1997 gli RTC furono nominati per tre Thunder Awards: Miglior Live-Act, Miglior MC e Miglior Traccia 1997 (The Horror), vinsero rispettivamente Miglior Live-Act e Miglior Traccia 1997. Nel 1998 gli RTC furono orgogliosi di essere nominati in Svizzera ai Line Up Rave Awards (TMF svizzero) per Miglior Live-Act insieme a The Prodigy e Der Dritte Raum.
Nel 2013 gli RTC celebrarono il loro 20° anniversario con 3 party speciali e un nuovo album intitolato Respect The Core. L’album fu numero 1 nella Hardtunes per quasi 10 giorni consecutivi. Nel 2015 gli RTC furono il gruppo live più duro di sempre al Tomorrowland e Vice.com realizzò un documentario sugli RTC che ricevette ottime recensioni in tutto il mondo. Nel 2013 gli RTC pubblicarono l’album “Respect The Core”, che dominò le classifiche Hardtunes per oltre 2 settimane.
Nel 2016 gli RTC hanno suonato per la prima volta al Qbase e il loro nuovo album “Respect the Core” è stato pubblicato nel dicembre 2017 durante una speciale festa RTC in Germania. Anche questo album ha scalato le classifiche. Nel 2018 gli RTC hanno festeggiato il loro 25° anniversario con una grande festa al Peppermill in Olanda, dove la band ha tenuto una delle sue prime feste quasi 25 anni fa.
Nel 2017 il loro nuovo album “Respect the Core” è stato pubblicato durante una speciale festa RTC in Germania. Nel 2018 gli RTC hanno festeggiato il loro 25° anniversario con una grande festa al Peppermill in Olanda, dove la band ha tenuto una delle sue prime feste quasi 25 anni fa. Nel 2023 gli RTC hanno festeggiato il loro 30° anniversario con eventi nei Paesi Bassi (Rotterdam, Eindhoven, Kerkrade), in Italia (Number One Corte Franca) e in Germania (Boothause, Colonia). Nel 2023, il film “Hardcore Never Dies” (oltre 100.000 spettatori) includeva 5 tracce dei Rotterdam Terror Corp. Nell’aprile 2024, RTC ha pubblicato il doppio CD “The Essence of Hardcore”.
